15mm Soviet Tank Riders

Hi all!

Well, this is a blogging streak for me. I had some time to do some painting and I figured I would knock out a squad of SMG Soviet Infantry that will be used as tank riders.  The first game of the campaign for IABSM calls for 3 squads of SMG infantry as tank riders so I went and looked at my lead mountain and found that I had enough for one squad of 8 men.

I have an order in for some more vehicles and infantry to be able to fill out the Soviet ranks for the first battle. After I fill out the Soviet order of battle (OB) then I will start working on the Germans. I will have to build a whole bunch of Panzer IV tanks for the battle.

I will be playing some games this weekend so hopefully, I will have a short AAR and some pictures up this weekend.

New set of rules for larger WW2 battles

Hi everyone.

I hope all is well in your part of the world.

I have decided to get a new set of rules to cover larger WW2 battles since I have an ever-increasing collection of WW2 tanks and equipment. I have some infantry painted up and I will do some more painting focusing on the infantry units needed for the new set of rules.

I decided to go with TooFatLardies WW2 rules "I Ain't Been Shot Mum" IABSM for short.  I also picked up the late war Eastern front supplement and a campaign book to help focus my efforts.

We will see how this goes.

Back in the saddle!

Hi all! I hope all is well in your part of the world!

             All 4 vehicles on display!

I finally got some time and energy to get some miniatures painted. I built 3 PSC tanks and a metal Hertzer the other day and I spent yesterday painting them up.

      Sherman Firefly painted up for the 1st Polish Armored Division.

I am happy with how they turned out.

The weather here in Sweden is back to normal and it is nice to be able to focus on things other then how to keep cool.

Let me know what you thing of the tanks.  Hopefully soon I will get some gaming in!  Now I will switch gears and get back to painting 2mm, 6mm, and some 15mm Austrians for the Napoleonic wars.
