Two games of What A Tanker this past weekend!

Hi everyone!

I got a change to meet up with a good friend and we were able to play two games of What A Tanker.  The first game was based on the movie Fury but on the Eastern Front.

I had four T-34/76 against one Tiger I tank.  It was a fun game, I lost two tanks very fast and all my hits on the Tiger just bounced off. It was not looking good for me.

Then the Tiger retreated into the woods, this was my chance to charge into the woods and try to get around the Tiger.

My close-up shots did not have much effect, so I rammed the Tiger with one of my tanks and that did some damage to the Tiger. The tank that had rammed the Tiger was badly damaged and would have to spend a long time in the repair shop.

My final T-34 was able to get on the Tigers rear and I had some very good dice rolls and I was able to kill the Tiger!!  That was a hard game. I lost 3 T-34/76's to one Tiger!

The second game was in an Urban setting that had been bombed out, it could have been any of the many German Cities that were in ruins late in the war.

This time it was a one on one.  I took an IS-2 and Soren took the Tiger I.  It was a fun game and it was close as we ended up at point blank range blasting away at each other.

The German Tiger backed into a building and had good luck as nothing bad happened to the tank. I have had some interesting experiences with driving a tank into a building in these games.

I eventually was able to get some good dice and I was able to take out the Tiger again.

I hope you enjoyed the quick AAR.

Have a good week!

Skål!!
