More 6mm Confederates and some extra stuff from this weekend!

Hi everyone!

Well it has been a busy weekend. I had 4 days off and I was able to get some work done on the 6mm ACW armies for Altar of Freedom.  I finished 4 more brigades of Confederate infantry and I was able to get in two Federal Artillery stands.  The Union Artillery are from Adler and the infantry are from Baccus.

I also made a small dice bag out of some fabric I had at the house from other projects. This bad is the first I have made like this and I think it came out good.

The dice are very special.

They are bone dice that I bought at the National History Museum in Copenhagen. I purchased a total of 20 dice. They are very nice and they are heavy compared to modern dice. I plan to use these during my 6mm Viking games for Sword and Spear.

Well I hope you all had a productive and fun weekend.

See you next time.

    1. Thank you! We are getting close. I just need one more delivery of troops and then the buildings and we will be set for the battle of 1st Bull Run.

    1. Hi Gordon, I started with 6mm way back in 1992 when I was in the Army and the size was perfect for moving and not having much room for stuff. They are a challenge to paint but they look really good when you get the hang of it.
Thank you for the kind words. The dice bag is good and I plan to make a larger one for all the other dice I have.
