Good Bye to 2018!

Hi everyone! I hope all is well in your part of the world. Things have been busy here and I have been painting but I have not had the amount of time I had wanted but things are progressing well. As you may know I am involved in the annual Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge.

Here is what I have painted so far. These are all 3mm tumbling dice aircraft that I painted for the Swedish Airforce in 1940.

We have 2 x T2 float planes.

and 9x B3 bombers.

Have a good New Year and I hope everyone enjoys time with family and friends!

Just a little update, today I am getting some miniatures ready for the AHPC that is starting in less than a month from now. I am organizing and building as well as priming a number of different miniatures that I plan to paint.

Here is what is ready to start with on day 1:

2mm Infantry, Cavalry, Artillery, and command stands for the Scanian War.

3mm Infantry for the Napoleonic Wars.

6mm Frankish Cavalry for my Viking games.

15mm Tanks, light, medium, and heavy tanks (all German)

20mm Infantry and one Tanket for my WW2 Swedish project in 20mm.

More to come. I have a lot to prep!

Have a good weekend!

Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge IX

Good morning all!

Today is Thanksgiving in the USA but since I live in Sweden it is not a day off for me, but I am able to work from home while I bake and cook Turkey.

On an interesting note, I was accepted into the Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge.  The challenge is in its 9th year and this will give me some much-needed motivation to paint, paint, and paint... I have plenty of things to paint so I don't need to buy anything. I have some items already assembled and primed so that will save me some time.  I will spend the next month getting things prepared to paint that are not ready. I have committed myself to paint 1,000 points worth of miniatures so that is a lot of painting.  We will see how I do.

Stay tuned for more!

Painting and rebasing 15mm WW2 miniatures

Hi everyone,

Sorry for not posting more often but I have been pretty busy with a number of different projects and activities.

Today I will show you a recent purchase from a member of my wargaming club. It was a great buy as I received two boxes of terrain as well as Italian and Finnish miniatures painted up as Swedish to add to my one squad of Swedish infantry I painted up. I also got some more Swedish vehicles and tanks.

Here is the terrain:

Here are the Swedish items I recieved before rebasing:

Also included in the deal was a whole bunch of Soviet infantry and Tanks.  The only thing I am doing with all this is rebasing and giving them a quick brushing with some dull coat.

Here are the Soviets:

So here are the Swedish Infantry that I have painted and the ones that I purchased. In all I now have just under a Platoons worth of Infantry. I just need to paint up two LMG's and the Platoon leader base and I will be done with the Swedish.

I also got some 15mm miniatures and a cool ass E-75 tank from HEER 46.  The tank looks awesome. I will do a separate post once I start working on the tank.

Enjoy.
