WWII Naval Project Complete

It has been a good weekend.

I was able to finish two projects, the Space 1999 and the Battle of Denmark Strait project.

The last two ships to finish the Battle of Denmark Strait were the HMS Hood and the HMS Prince of Whales. These two ships have been sitting in my to paint pile for over a year now, so it is good to get them done.

Here are some pictures of the two British ships and also the entire force for the game.

Let's see how the battle fights out when we play at the club.

I hope everyone was able to get some painting done this past weekend or the chance to play some games.

Have a good week.

Space 1999 update

Well today I actually had time to paint!

Today I finished painting all the Space 1999 ships I had left to paint. This only consisted of 3 Eagles but now they are done! I have enjoyed painting them up and I look forward to trying a game out with the guys at the club.

Here are a few pictures of the finished fleet of spaceships!

Have a good weekend. I plan to paint up some British WWII Ships. Lets see how many I can get done.

Take care.

Secret Santa 2015!!!

Hi everyone!

Well this is just a quick post to let you know that I have joined the Secret Santa Wargaming gift exchange that is being run by Ian over at The Blog With No Name The sign up date is coming to a close on the 1st of November so after you have checked out the rules over at TBWNN you can join in the fun.

On another note I have been sick again with a killer cold that has been kicking my ass. I have done little except get up and go to work and sleep.  It has been a while since I have painted anything and even longer since I have played a wargame. Between work and SFI (Swedish For Invaders) I have had little time for my hobbies.  I am hoping to get some more painting done this weekend.  I will probably continue painting the last few Space 1999 ships that I have so I can call that project complete! Then it is on too..... WWII Soviets, WWII Aircraft, WWII Ships, WWI Ships, Scanian War ships, F&I war cavalry, WWI 28mm Female Infantry, Modern Aircraft, 30 years war, etc... As you can see I have plenty of options but have to find time to paint.

Wish me luck

See you all soon!

Not Dead Yet

Hi everyone.
Sorry for not posting in a while but life is busy now.  I have gone back to SFI to lean Swedish, at nights.  So with work and all language lesson's my gaming and painting time has taken a major set back.

I have been shopping for more stuff to eventually paint up and game with.

I just got a copy of the classic solo board game B-17 Queen of the Skies.
I have been looking for a copy for years and I finally ordered a copy from the states.

I have not played the game yet but I plan too soon.  The box is a little beat up but it looks like the game has only been played twice since it was published back in the 1980's.

There are a lot of mods and add ons out there but this is one of the classic WWII air warfare games.  Unfortunately it cost a small fortune to get this and to have it shipped here.

Soon there will be a new version of this classic game. It is called

Target For Today

Bombers Over the Reich, 1942 - 1945
Designer: Steve Dixon & Bob Best

It is being published by Legion Wargames.  I am on the list for the CPO (Customer Pre Order)

If you are interested check it out here:  Link
We only need 67 more people to get the game into production.

Well I hope to have some pictures up this weekend of some painting the I have been able to do.

Have a great weekend!!!
