Basing

Hi all,
Well I am working painting a few different miniatures right now so once they are all done then I will have a longer post about the figures.

I took some time to get some Warbases movement trays for both my 28mm and 15mm gaming needs.

Here is a picture of the recently finished Swedish Infantry group for Sparp Practice.  The base is good and sturdy and was easy to add the grass to it.  The figures look good with this large base instead of the individual miniatures grouped together. 

Here is a few pictures of some 15mm Indians that can be used for either the British or the French forces during the F&I War.  These are Essex miniatures that I painted back in 2010.  They were based on a square base with 3 miniatures each stand.

Here is an infantry stand of troops from the 60th Regiment of Foot for the F&I War.

Happy New Year!!

Well I have continued to have some time to paint and today I was able to start and finish this unit of miniatures.  This is for our clubs games of F&I War using the Donnybrook skirmish rules.  This is the dismounted portion of the unit, I have the mounted figures ready to paint up int 2015.

I have always wanted to paint up this unit and I finally found someone who makes the figures in 28mm. Redoubt Enterprises is the company that makes them.  They are good figures but the faces are all the same and these are probably old molds.  Check out the line of F&I Miniatures here: F&I Miniatures

I will get some more F&I Figures in this coming year, both French and British as well as the great Indian Miniatures that are now available.

Thank you to all of you who have starting to follow me over the last 3 months. It has been great restarting my painting and learning new techniques for painting miniatures.  I still need to work on faces and particularly eyes.
