Well I started on these ships last week but it took some time to get them all done. First up are the Ships Boats, these are the row boats from the larger ships and are used to tow ships as well as transfer crew to a ship that has struck her colors.
Row for your lives!!!! |
Size comparison between the ships boats and one of the new 30 gun ships |
They can also be used to send landing parties ashore. We needed some ship boats for our games to help us play better. I also have some ships boats that are sail boats that I have not painted up yet.
Next up are two smaller ships of the line, they are both 30 gun ship models and they will represent the Swedish ships Hjorten (36 guns) and the Salvator (30 guns).
My little fleet of Swedish ships continues to grow. Next up I have two small Royal Yachts that will represent two smaller ships of the line.
Here are some picutes of all the ships I have now.
Thanks and have a great weekend!!!!
Very very nice Mark !

Thank you for the link Engel! It has been fun, but a lot of work painting up these ships. I have more ready to build and paint and then I will have to place another order. More soon!
DeleteQuite a navy you've built there, looks great when displayed together like that - really like the new rowing boats for boarding actions!
ReplyDeleteYes it is good to get a size comparison of the ships. See you tomorrow!
DeleteNice works...
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThese ships really look great. More!
ReplyDeleteYes Sir, more ships are on the way. Thank you for the kind words.
DeleteGreat additions! Those rowing boats help to add scale to the rest of the fleet. Quite an impressive collection! Ive really enjoyed your naval AARs and look forward to more.
ReplyDeleteCan't help to wonder if they would look even better if the water was somewhat darker though, representing the cold and grim Baltic Sea. :-)

HI Mattias,
DeleteYes I have considered changing the water but for now I think I will leave it as is. More ships and battles are coming in the near future.
Have a great week!
Terrific looking fleet!
