What a Tanker preparation!

Hi all,

This week TooFatLardies announced there next game. It will be a WWII tank on tank game, this is something I am really looking forward too. As I already have a number of tanks for WWII in 15mm for my Chain of Command games, this new set of rules should be a great addition to my collection of rules and fun to play.

So in honor of this new set of rules, I built and painted up a Panzer III G.  It is a Plastic Soldiers Company plastic model and it was easy and fun to build and paint.  My goal is to build and paint up as many of the Plastic Soldier Company tanks that I have un-built.  I have more Panzer III's, Panzer IV's, Tigers, and T-34's that I can build.  I think that will be more than enough to run a few games at the club, since most of the boxes come with everything you need to build 5 tanks.

I hope everyone had a good weekend.  I will have another post up soon.  I have been painting more 3mm tanks as well.

Skål!

  1. I like your idea - I have a load of psc 15 mm tanks to make up and I've heard good things about the too fat lardies rules so I'll wait to hear your report on them if you get them and also to see your painted up for models.

    1. Hi Dannoc! I am hoping they will be very good. I have read a little more on the TooFatLardies forum and the rules will run from 1940-1945. Should be fun! The rules should be out later this month. I will let you know what I think of the rules once I get my hands on them. I also have a bunch of 15mm PSC tanks.

    1. Hi Dean, Yes, they were written, and play tested in both 28mm and 15mm, so I bet they could be used for several different scales. Hopefully I can get a game at the club sometime in April or May depending on when the rules are published.

  3. There will certainly be a lot of What A Tanker played at the club. We're dusting off all those 20mm tanks

    1. Hi Joakim! Great I know it will be fun using these rules. It will be fun to see who becomes a tank ace first! Skål!
